This website is maintained by the Scappoose Business Development Advisory Council (BDAC) a subcommittee of the Scappoose City Council, with the purpose of being the mechanism of defining and reaching a Vision for the Scappoose businesses in the downtown overlay and surrounding areas.

The Vision 

As identified in the ODDA Report, the threefold goals of the Scappoose BDAC are:
  1. to strengthen the downtown commercial district;
  2. to strengthen the residential base: and,
  3. create a unified, walkable inviting downtown, anchored by activity generators, that serves residents and visitors alike.
